Feb. 1st newsletter

Kindergarten News

Mrs. Crouser Room 112

This past week we began our study of Black History month by talking about Garrett Morgan and Barack Obama. We will also be talking about Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Mae Jemison, George Washington Carver, Jackie Robinson and many more.

Thank you to both Eliana and Jules’ families for donating to our Donors Choose project.  We have until February 27th to get $475 in donations.  Please help spread the word, as no donation is too small.

Important events happening in room 112:
Valentine’s Day: We will be exchanging valentines with our classmates.  Please send in 19 valentines with only your child name, this makes for easier distribution.  If you are unable to get valentines please let me know ASAP.  You may send them in anytime you have them ready. Just make sure they are in a bag labeled with your child’s name.
100th Day: We will be celebrating the 100th day soon. Be looking for instructions on 100th day collections in the coming week.  As part of our celebration we will be making a 100th day snack and making Fruit Loop necklaces.

**I will have a sign up outside the classroom door next week for our Friendship/Valentine’s party and 100th day needs.
